Carwile Photography specializes in capturing those special moments in life. Mike & Sandy are a husband & wife team who bring together the technical expertise and the emotional component of photography to create a portrait that can be appreciated by both the eyes and the heart. They enjoy and work well with any age group.
Their photography style is a culmination of over 20
years of varied experience in photography resulting in a combination of
photojournalism and traditional. They are known for their portraits
capturing the client’s personality and relationships.
Photographs are available in color or black & white as well as some special effects such as an infrared look, hand tinting or a hand crafted virtual painting. Mike is an accomplished digital artist who will work with you to create the effect you want. Simple retouching is done as needed on all purchased photographs at no extra charge. Framing is available on site.
The studio is located on 20 secluded acres that has been landscaped especially for photography. Located only ten minutes from Chapel Hill and Hillsborough and is also convenient to the Burlington-Greensboro area as well as Raleigh-Durham (30-45 min).
Both Mike and Sandy are members of Professional Photographers of North Carolina and Photographic Society of the Triangle. Mike is also a member of Professional Photographers of America. They regularly attend conferences and lectures taught by nationally renowned photographers to update their skills and refresh their approach to their photography.
Consultations for clothing and/or makeup for the photo session are recommended and are done at no charge.
